Arcura delivered a full aluminium glazing package for Henbrook House, providing a co ordinated solution that met both planning requirements and programme demands following a late change in specification.

The scope of works comprised standard aluminium windows and doors, curtain walling, bifold doors and automated entrance screens, forming a consistent and robust aluminium package across the building. The selected systems provided durability, clean sightlines and long‑term performance suitable for the scheme.

While the site itself presented no significant physical constraints, the project did require careful programme management. Prior to Arcura’s appointment, the client had placed an order elsewhere for PVC‑u windows. When a planning condition could not be amended, the specification reverted back to aluminium, meaning Arcura was brought onto the project later than originally intended.

Rather than allowing this to impact progress, Arcura worked closely with the project team to optimise the programme. The later start provided an opportunity to carry out a single, comprehensive survey across all three floors, allowing fabrication to proceed efficiently and with full dimensional confidence.

This approach enabled a continuous installation phase, reducing site disruption and avoiding the need for multiple visits. As a result, despite being technically “late” to site, Arcura was able to complete the main bulk of the installation ahead of the client’s anticipated programme dates.

The completed works delivered a high‑quality, planning‑compliant aluminium installation that supported both the architectural intent and programme objectives. The Henbrook House project demonstrates Arcura’s ability to respond positively to changing circumstances and deliver efficient, well coordinated aluminium solutions that add real value for the client.
