Location for this project was key. Just walking distance from Lewisham station and easily accessible from anywhere central london, we were pleased to work with main contactor (Skillcrown) to complete this hotel development for Travelodge.

The development consists of a 127 bedrooms, with 2 large commercial units on the ground floor. The exterior was designed to blend perfectly with its surrounding, creating a contemporary and clean façade that modernises the street.

Arcura were chosen to supply and install the fenestration package which involved aluminium windows and doors, shopfronts, automatic entrance doors, feature panels, and EPDM. Alongside this we had high acoustic requirements to comply with which is a speciality of ours and found with many of our projects.

The project did prove to have some challenging logistics due to the limited space in which the site is situated. Glazing had to be craned onto the roof upon arrival, which then led to manual handling to distribute the material to its correct floor.
