Arcura delivered the full glazing and door package for the residential development at Valley Drive, supplying a range of systems designed to meet the specification requirements for both private apartments and communal spaces.
The project was undertaken during a period when the construction industry was still managing the effects of post COVID supply chain disruption. Material availability and manufacturing lead times varied significantly throughout the build, requiring close coordination with suppliers to maintain continuity of works. In addition, the legislation surrounding fire rated composite entrance doors was evolving at pace following the unfortunate Grenfell tragedy, with many manufacturers adjusting product lines and certification processes. This resulted in a more complex procurement stage, as additional checks and verifications were needed to ensure full compliance with the updated standards.
Despite these wider industry pressures, Arcura completed the window and door package as specified. All installations were delivered to the required performance, safety and compliance criteria, providing the development with a robust and modern glazing solution aligned to current regulatory expectations.
