The works included the supply and installation of aluminium tilt and turn windows throughout the apartments, as well as balcony access doors and selected steel security doors. The project also involved the design and installation of structural support brackets, along with bespoke packers developed to suit the varying openings across the building. All glazing was specified to meet acoustic performance requirements, and EPDM sealing systems were installed to ensure durability and long term weather protection.

A key complexity of the project was that all windows were installed prior to the completion of the external brickwork. This required a high level of accuracy and forward planning to ensure correct positioning and alignment with subsequent construction stages. Each opening required individually measured and manufactured sealing solutions, with careful coordination alongside other trades, particularly in relation to the black façade panels installed as part of the wider works.

Further challenges included maintaining consistent levels and alignment across all ten floors, as well as ensuring all glazing met the required specifications. Arcura addressed this through calculated support systems, bespoke fabrication, and the use of crane lifts to safely and efficiently position materials at height.

Despite these challenges, Arcura successfully delivered a fully compliant and precisely installed glazing solution. All systems were installed, levelled and certified in line with project requirements, with cyclone sealing applied around the windows to enhance long term performance. The result is a robust and cohesive facade that meets the acoustic, structural and environmental demands of a modern residential development.
