As part of a new internal marketing initiative, we’re proud to launch ‘In the Frame’, a monthly blog series spotlighting the people behind Arcura. This series is all about connection. Through informal, Q&A style conversations, we’ll be sharing personal and professional insights from the team members who help bring our projects to life.
This edition will share insight into Brogan Ridewood, Design Manager.
Introduction
My name is Brogan, and I’m Design Manager at Arcura. I’ve been part of this family-run
business for 5 years, helping deliver high quality windows, doors, and curtain wall solutions
across residential and commercial projects nationwide.
Professional Questions
What initially attracted you to join Arcura and the construction industry?
It’s a family business that I’d always wanted to be part of, so when the opportunity came up, it
was a no brainer.
Reflecting on your career, what achievement are you most proud of?
Delivering high-quality façade packages. When a job finishes well and the client is happy, that’s
the most satisfying part.
What advice would you give to developers or contractors starting a new project?
Start talking to sub-contractors early, specifically with more technical projects. Allowing enough
time to properly and carefully consider different design options, spec etc. is key, otherwise
decisions end up being rushed without being properly thought through which can lead to further
challenges.
Personal Questions
What’s your favorite hobby or interest outside of work?
I’m happiest when I’m outdoors, going for a nice walk through the countryside, then finishing the
day with a beer and a BBQ with friends or family.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
I would choose teleportation. It would make travelling quicker and easier and would mean that I
could be anywhere in the world in seconds.
